I have Dish Satellite with DVD hooked up to my VCR and then TV. How do I record things from my DVD to the VCR?

I have Dish Satellite with DVD hooked up to my VCR and then TV. How do I record things from my DVD to the VCR? The Dish people hooked up the whole mess.

I am not really sure if the Dish connects to the DVD/VHS or to DVR or the other way around. I can record to the DVR and I can play DVD's and VHS tapes on my VHS/DVD player, but I can't record shows recorded on my DVR to the VHS player. According to the multi-page BOOK that came with the DISH I should be able to do this.

Can anyone help me? Also is there a way that I can record directly to my VCR player? I have DVR/VHS recorder combo but am afraid to hook it up to my present set up so I have it on another TV and then dub the VHS tapes I record to DVR.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
