I have lost music on my itunes library that I had purchased. Is there any way I can get back the songs from apple? They will likely let you download your music again It is generally an "open secret" that you will get at least one opportunity to download all your music again. See a thread here: lifehacker.com/software/itunes/redownloa... I don't think it is well publisized because they don't want to have to do it for every person who doesn't feel like backing up their data. I think the best you can do is call (1-800-MYAPPLE) or email them and see if you can't find some nice person who will pull some strings for you.In my experience, they have been very accomodating.

One time reload Apple has a pretty lousy policy on this, but you are eligible for a one time re-download. Go into iTunes, and under the my account section, click "deauthorize all"... Then re-authorize your computer and go to "check for purchases" under the store tab. Your songs will download again.

They say this only works once. I did it and Apple wouldn't let me download songs I had purchased that were no longer for sale via iTunes. What a rip off.

Itunes Ok, I could be totally wrong, but you can try this. When you are at your Library, go up to the top where it says "STORE", go down where it says "Check For Purchases". You'll have to log in and I think that's where it finds your songs.....You might be able to get them back that way.

Or on the left side where it says "Purchased", it may find the songs for you I remember I had a computer that crashed and got a new one, and when I did that, it just redownloaded the songs for me. But I do believe I read somewhere , where it only holds your songs for 2yrs, so I just would also say to make back up cd's in case you can't get those songs back from the itunes store. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
