I have old family movies that have been converted to DVD's - want to edit and re-burn to DVD's - any suggestions?

I need to be able to move the frames around (time frames, individual famlies, etc) Really looking for a package that I can do this with. Asked by pattybcool 38 months ago Similar questions: family movies converted DVD's edit re burn suggestions Entertainment > Movies.

Adobe Premier Pro or Windows Movie maker or Final Cut Pro (for the Mac) Adobe Premier Pro is a really great program for editing videos and making slide shows and such. Windows Movie Maker is also a fine for making simple videos but I find it crashes a lot, among other things. My favorite movie editing software is Adobe Premier Pro.

Final Cut Pro is a really good editing program for the Mac. First you’d have to get a program that takes your DVD file and makes it into either . Avi or .

Mov or . Mpg or some sort of video file on your computer. .

Avi and . Mov are the best and have the best quality. I’m pretty sure that Nero StartSmart can do this.

I have it, plus there are many other programs on the internet available to grab video from a DVD and make it into a computer video file. You can do a search on Google to find more. Then you would take your newly created video file and import it into Adobe Premier Pro (or other video editing software) where you can kind of break it up and use parts of it in whichever order you want to use them.

You can even add scanned (or from digital camera) pictures as a bit of still images if you'd like. I made a simple video of my wedding (June of this year) of both moving video and still images with Adobe Premier Pro. (I sent copies to family members.) After you’ve made the video file, you have to then save it as another computer video file.

You can then use Nero to copy the new creation to a new DVD. This is a short answer for a very long and complex process. I took a college class a couple of semesters ago and learned how to use Final Cut Pro (for the Mac) which is very similar to Adobe Premier Pro, but I own a PC and Final Cut Pro isn’t available for the PC.

I then got Adobe Premier Pro and I love using it. I also make videos for YouTube. I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
