That depends on the density of the wood. It could take up to three months. We recommend simply weighting down the slate in the aquarium with larger heavy rocks until the wood sinks by itself.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
