I have recently switched to Desktop 10.1 and am unable to delete e-mail from the New and Spam folders?

Wish I knew the answer, but have emailed aol several times with no sucess in why. You can choose between a split inbox of new and old email and just INBOX with new and old together. On one of my computers, I have just INBOX and able to delete email- on the other two the new and old are split and unable to delete mail- wierd.

If so, I would recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the software.

In my case- no error messages appear. Simply unable to delete an email by hitting delete button, clicking on delete on the email- NOTHING. Again, will work on the computer that has the joint INBOX- only will not delete on the computers with split inbox of NEW AND OLD.

I am having the same problems ... unable to delete email in 10.1 for the one email account that is also linked to my cell phone. I am able to delete email for my other email accounts using 10.1. I am able to delete the mail from my cell phone or using aol.com. I have removed the software and reinstalled.

It doesn't make sense that it would be the software if I am able to delete the mail in my other aol accounts. I think it must have something to do with the cell phone. Any suggestions?

I have 3 computers- 2 have split inboxes- can't delete from them.. but the joint inbox- I can delete- weird!

FYI...I was told by an AOL tech that the reason is, I have over 5K of emails in this folder with 10.1. I have had other tech support tell me different reasons- and solutions... none of which work. I have to delete out of another version (9.6) or web email. Working on deleting old emails and see if that works... good luck.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
