I have set the stack cushion (see sys:set-stack-cushion and sys:stack-cushion) to a reasonable value, but the soft stack limit is not being detected, and I get a lisp death instead. Why is that?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
