If you like suspense, try House of Leaves. It's a difficult read, and definitely not for the feint of heart, but it grabbed me with it's amazing writing and suspense.
If you like history, I'm reading It happened in Italy by Elizabeth Bettina. This is a very good book about Jews who lived in Italy during WWII and the Italian version of the Camps. Not what you'd expect considering Italy was allied with Germany at the start of the war.
Not many people, including Italians who didn't live in the villages involved, knew such camps existed in Italy during WWII and it has just recently become more well known.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
