I have some Maxwell 8mm video cassettes and I was wondering if there was any way to copy them to the computer? Thanks?

Thanks! The cassette says 'Maxwell 8mm video cassette HGX-M 90'. I really want to copy them to the computer but I do not know how.

In my case, I bought a TV input card for my PC. (Hauppage, modem VR150, I think). That has cable (coax) input, as well as S-video and composite (3-wire) input.

It takes 4 minutes to install and lets the computer process incoming video signals. My Sony camera has S-video output, so I bought an S-video cable (about $7.00 at target). The way it works: you start the video software, let it record.

Then press the play button on the camera. When it's done, click STOP on both. Note - video files on the PC can get awfully large, so make sure you have a good bit of space on the hard drive..

MP, 8mm, cassettes, wondering, adapter, firewire.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
