I have written a fiction story but I get practically no traffic as a result of which my hubscore is?

Personally I don't think you should worry about it. My hub score is low but i'm on here for the purpose of debating and expressing myself. Some are on herwe to make money or to be popular so it depends I guess on the reason your here.

I think that you need to increase your social network and you can do this by interacting and following more hubbers on hubpages. Best of luck.

Maybe you think of promoting them via building back links to increase traffic, this in turn will start to increase you hubberscore.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
