You just need to substitute HOW you gather your meats. Chicken is still relatively cheap. Some frozen seafood seems to be cheaper than beef, pork and lamb.
The cheap stuff is at the "get it yourself" place! A tube of crickets costs about a buck, minnows are still about a buck per 2 or 3 dozen, and you can dig up worms free! Then relax on the bank while you shop for your fish.
Red meat can also be found cheap. If you're good, one bullet is all you need, and once you get my age you can buy a lifetime hunting license! Results can be frozen and eaten when you wish!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
