The prospects for accountants/finance in australia are about the same as anywhere post GFC, but... Studying in Australia will not qualify you for a work visa or any form of residency. I had a lot of friends at university who were international students and very few of them were able to stay in the country afterwards. That includes one friend who did her bachelors and undergraduate here.It took her years of jumping through hoops to finally get residency.
You may have to be willing to live in one of the smaller cities or a regional centre (ie, not Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, the Gold Coast etc) for two years. That said, accountancy remains on the skilled job schedule so you could get lucky :) Any of the major universities should be fine.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
