Diego, That is sooooooo not true! I had an excellent SSI attorney, he did all the paperwork, all of the phone calls, made the doctors appointment for me. I had total peace of mind from day 1.
ALL I had to do was sign the papers, took 4 months for me to get my check. You don't have any personal experience with a SSI attorney, only word of mouth from your buddies. So please don't run your mouth about something you very obviously know nothing about.
Most SSI disability cases are denied the first and even the second time, why? As you stated the jerks filing fraudulent cases makes it that much harder for honest people with legitimate claims to get what is rightfully theirs, DO NOT blame the disability attorneys, they are as frustrated as we are. Having to deal with the Social Security office is a royal pain in the arse.
Why an attorney would want to be a disability attorney or a work comp attorney is beyond me, they get BS from all sides, Ohhh, maybe they just want to HELP people, imagine that! Trekincat 54 months ago.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
