My phone didn't die But Cingular would not upgrade until my 2 year contract was up and the made me mad.........and even though I stayed with them...I ended up buying a RAZR on ebay fully loaded with everything for 125$ from a private buyer(not an ebay store) she had super feedback, a 100% guarantee and it came with the bluetooth, and a huge amount of accessories. I felt great my phone was paid for...........& I wasn't locked into anyones plan............. That phone still works great............but I had to put it aside for my IPHONE! .

All depends on wireless carrier If your warranty expired, in my experience you will most likely have to buy a new phone at full price. If it died really JUST after the warranty it doesn't hurt to bring it in (after they pull up your acct) they will see the exact date you got it and see that in fact they are just over a few days and they might give you a free phone... hope this helps! .
