I know how to put things from my computer to CD,what I would like to know how would I take a short video from a CD and?

IF you have windows media player, you put the CD in the drive , then you open windows media player, you will see a feature called RIP, you click on RIP, It will ask you what you want to rip ,pick the disc drive and then ask where you want to save it to, make a folder called my videos for example and save it in there, the follow the on screen instructions and you will make a copy to the folder from the disk ,it is pretty easy. You can do it easy ,, the media player even walks you through it, I have made my own cds for the car. I put store bought cds in the rip the whole CD , I do that with 10-15 cds then I pick songs from each album and drag them to a burn list, you click burn make a list and then put a blank CD in the drive and burn the list onto the blank , then you have the store bought ones safe at home as master copies with custom play-lists for home made music cds, computers , when you don't hate em they aint so bad.

The procedure is the same, only reversed. Use Windows Explorer, and bring up the location of the CD, and the location of the drive and folder the file will end up. Ghlight the file on the CD, click the left mouse button, and drag it to the target folder.

Note the file from the CD will be read only, which means it can't be changed/edited until the setting for the file is changed, again in Explorer and right clicking to get properties.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
