I lost all my Macbook's contents in a flood. Is it possible to get my iTunes music back? It's not showing up so far?

2 Oh, thanks Pam! It's almost old news now; the flood was May 2nd. I lost everything in my house, and also my car.

But I have recently moved into a new apartment, and am beginning to get things back together, to the point where I thought about my iTunes music this afternoon. I have had lots of support from many kind and generous people, including lots of them here at Askville! :) So, it's getting better!

There is no option to re-download all of your iTunes purchases offered through either iTunes or the Apple website. However, while you may get chastised for not backing up your iTunes library (which you will do from now on, right?), it is possible to redownload all of your iTunes songs purchased through iTunes again, and restore your iTunes purchases. When you buy a song, video, iPod Game, or album from the iTunes Store you are entitled to download it a single time.

If you want to download it again, you must purchase it again. You can copy downloaded content between authorized computers. Important: Make a backup of the content you purchase.

In case of data loss, including hard drive failure or replacement, accidental deletion, and so forth, you’ll be able to restore it from the backup. Applications purchased from the App Store can be redownloaded free of charge by following the instructions inHow to redownload purchased apps from the App Store.

I’m so sorry I only had bad news for you from my search, but if I were you, I would visit an Apple Store. They did do it at one time. And really, no one could expect you to carry a back up on your person at all times!

They may consider the flood. The Apple staff at my local store is amazing and I bet they would do it. Can't hurt to try, I always say.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
