I need a good explanation (Not Too Complicated) comparing and contrasting Republicans and Democrats.?

The Democrat-Republican divide today is basically the same as the Federalist-Republican divide that existed back in the early days of the nation: one side is pro-centralization and the other is anti-centralization. The Democratic party is pro-centralization; they support a strong federal government that is highly involved in society through programs like Social Security and government-provided healthcare, and through mandates such as income taxes and business regulations. The Republicans are the anti-centralization party.

They support states' rights and a limited federal government; oppose expansion of welfare, Social Security, and most other government-provided programs; and strive to reduce business regulation, taxes, and other mandates they view as detrimental or intrusive to society. Another way to view the two-party system is as liberal vs. conservative. The Democrats usually support both socially liberal causes such as same-sex marriage, abortion rights, and strict gun control, and fiscally liberal causes such as expansion of tax revenue and business regulation.

The Republicans are usually the conservative party, supporting socially conservative causes such as the pro-life movement, the protection of marriage movement, and gun rights, as well as a fiscally conservative stance which aims for the avoidance of new fiscal mandates such as tax increases and business regulations.

A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
