I need a proven cure for a stubborn spot of eczema on my baby's chin! What has worked for you? Both of my twins have eczema, but one of them has this terribly stubborn spot on her chin that has been present for about 4 months and will temporarily look better but then come back full-force.
Sometimes it gets cracked and bleeds! We've been to the dermatologist and have tried his recommendation of prescription strength hydrocortisone cream plus ointment over the top, but that won't make it go away completely. Has anyone tried a product or regimine that has worked?

When I was little, I had eczema and my pediatrician recommended Mazon cream. Look it up, it worked for me. Good luck!.
I used elidel I have a 4 year old, interracial little girl who has 3 very bad spots, 2 in the crooks of her elbows and on the back of her neck. I used elidel but I don't think they prescribe it any more. The most recent thing we used was hydrocortisone cream with creamy petroleum jelly.
This seemed to work very well. I have also used the avon Moisture therapy for extremely dry skin.
It's probably because the chin tends to get wet and irritated with food in really young kids. When my son had eczema I used a cream called Eucerin. It was the formula in the little tub not the tube.
I would slather it on his face at night and it really worked. It was nice because it didn't have a smell either. Try to dab his face instead of wiping and keep the cream on it.
Maybe put a little on there before he/she eats so when you do have to clean up their faces there will be a little barrier between the wipe and the eczema. Sunshinesmama's Recommendations Eucerin Original Moisturizing Cream - 16 oz Average Customer Rating: 5.0 out of 5 (based on 2 reviews) This is what I used, but that was a few years ago, there may be a better formula out there now.
Vaseline My son had terrible dry skin on his chin along with a small rash from teething and vaseline cleared it right up. It took about a week but worked like a charm. Sources: personal experience .
1 sunshinesmama, regarding your answer "It's probably because the chin tends to get wet and": I have Eucarin, and also Aquaphor which is made by Eucarin. No luck with either of them! Thanks though.

A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
