Looking for a children/young adult chapter book about a young girl that moves with her family and meets a female ghost! At the end of the book the girl finds out that the ghost had died in the lake near her new home years before. I can't remember much!

There may have been a locket or necklace involved, but I'm not sure. I read it in sixth grade, it was a book of the teacher's, so it would be very young adult appropriate. Any help would be great!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
