I need to reinstall Firefox, what sub-folders within the default Profile folder should I copy?

My copy of Firefox 3.0.7 won't open so I need to reinstall the program. I wonder if my bookmarks and extensions 'will be there when I get back' so what do files/folders I need to save to my external drive? I use XP SP2.

What is the easiest way to get my Favorites file/folder and all my other folders under that from I.E. 6.0 to Firefox 1.5.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
