I need to set off a flea bomb in 3 bedrooms 2 which are kid bedrooms. Any tips or suggestions?

Just follow the directions on the pack. Plan for an outing for about 4 hours, have the kids outside, set the bombs, close the doors and leave the house. When you come home open all doors and windows then bring the kids in.De flea the cat first.

Above (^) You're wasting your money, time, and energy if you only partially flea fog the house. If you set off a flea fogger in bedrooms and skip the closets, hallways, or any other room.. guess where all the fleas go..? They will hide and seek sanctuary in every pile of laundry, every closed drawer, every closet. Here's the thing: Foggers really DO work. The reason people will say they still have fleas after "trying everything" is because they didn't treat every single, solitary area of the home. If one has piles of papers, piles of laundry, then when a fogger is set off, the fleas will hide in the piles and survive and thrive.

If a person sets off foggers in bedrooms, but skips the kitchen and hallways..then they still have fleas. If a person doesn't do the prep work necessary, prior to the fogging; (i.e. Open all closets, drawers, storage bins, cupboards, and walk-in closets), eliminate all piles of debris, clothing, laundry, papers, etc.Even file cabinets and dresser drawers should be pulled open and larger closets should get their own fogger.

Attics, stairways, landings, foyers and crawlspaces should be fogged with their own fogger. If you don't do all of this, then the fleas survive and continue to reproduce at an astronomical rate.2 + 2 = thousands. Your cat can be treated with a product called FRONTLiNE.

It's a small vial of oil that is dropped between the shoulder blades and absorbs into the skin. She will be flea and tick-fee for 3 - 4 months. But it's possible you have fleas because they have hopped on a pant let, or have been brought in by the kids playing outside.

Fleas can also come if there are raccoons, skunks, opossums, rodents, bats or birds in the area. The lawn may have fleas. Make sure there aren't rodents or other critters in the area (in a crawlspace or in the attic).

You asked about taping closet doors.Do not tape closet doors. OPEN CLOSET DOORS. Closet gets it's own fogger.

Curtains don't have to be removed..just close them and make sure there are no tight, wrinkles or bunched-up areas (so fleas can't hide) and do this before you fog. No need to wash curtains after a fogging.As far as your children's toys and toy bins, etc. : Open up everything in their rooms.

Closets, cupboards, toy bins, drawers and everything that is closed up. The fogger will be set off and when you all return, just vacuum like crazy..wipe down surfaces with a regular surface cleaner and you'll be fine. It's important to lay down newspaper beneath the fogger and that will keep any splatter from harming anything.

The fog is released into the air. You'll want to turn off pilot lights and turn off fans, and air units while the fogging takes place. You simply set them off, have everybody ready to go, and stay away for a few hours.

As long as you do the necessary prep work, you will be flea-free. If you treat your cat with Frontline, she can be an inside cat, again. Your daughter may be allergic to the fleas, for sure.

Strip the sheets, and the clothes wash in hottest water possible! Follow instructions on each room bomb. Get the hell out of the house while they work.

Wouldn't hurt to deflea the yard with flea repellants found at gardening stores. I heard using peppermint/lavendar oils keep insects at bay. I think from a self help website.

Yes shut the doors while bombing the rooms and do it when people are going to be able to leave the house. You should also bomb the WHOLE house and bag all unwashable items in tight plastic bags. Then wash all clothes and bedding and put mattress covers on each bed.

You need to make sure all the fleas are killed. They can easily spread around the whole house so treat the whole house.
