These are generally considered interior/exterior paints. They can be used in either location, and there's no need to repaint if it is latex based. If it is a oil based paint, make sure you read the warnings on the label, as they tend to contain more volatile aromatic compounds such as toluene, which can be very toxic if inhaled in strong quantities, which could build up in an indoor, enclosed environment...
2 Thanks for your reply. My concern is that I've read some bad things about the toxicity of exterior paint and that it is not safe for indoor use. Initially I thought it wouldn't matter, but after reading these things now I'm a little concerned because this is our guest room/exercise room.It has now been 36 hours since I painted with one coat and it still feels kind of sticky.
I thought that might be because of it being exterior latex paint instead of interior latex. Unfortunately I sent my husband out to buy five more gallons of this paint yesterday and at $150 I would rather just use it but I don't want to if it's going to make us sick or remain sticky feeling. What do you think?

3 KP983:Unfortunately, if you used paint that is solely designed for exterior surfaces, I don't think painting over it is a very good solution. Here's why:The paint will continue to dry underneath your new coating of interior paint, and slowly leach chemical solvents into the air of the room, such as toluene. I think you need to remove the paint to be completely safe.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TolueneAny of the solvents in paint that are benzene based compounds are very dangerous to be breathing in long term, even in small quantities, as benzene is a strong, proven carcinogen. So if you paint over this paint, even if you can no longer detect an odor from it, it is still undergoing chemical changes underneath the new paint...Just my opinion, but I'd strip that paint off and start over. Make sure you have very good ventilation when you are doing this, to the outside, not to the rest of the house...

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
