I plan on majoring in art, but I plan on double majoring. What should my other major be?

Hi bgamer If you want to major in art then that is great. However I would recommend a double major with graphic design, marketing, or advertising to give you something that will lead to a job. Should you find you cannot do double major then graphic design, marketing, or advertising would be a good choice for you a you can rely on your creative skills.

My boyfriend has a similar problem. He loves to act and sing and wants to major in Musical Theatre. He is now second guessing himself.

I told him the same thing I am going to tell you. If you are passionate about something go for it. If you do something else because the money is better or you might not make it, then you are going to be going though life thinking "what if".

What if I did it? Would I have made it? Could I be happy now?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
