FTW stand for "For the Win". An enthusiastic emphasis to the end of a comment, message, or post. Sometimes genuine, but often sarcastic.
While "FTW" when used in IMs, chat rooms, blogging and microblogging (Twitter) sometimes means "F*** the World" (somewhat opposite of WTF meaning "What the F***") the original and more frequently intended meaning, especially when it appears at the end of a line, is "For Those Wondering". Take a look at some Twitter posts and see which one makes sense more often (Twitter.com/#search?q=ftw). The posts may be something as simple as "sandwich FTW", which, if posted around noon, means "I'm having a sandwich for lunch right now, if anyone was wondering."
I suspect the other meaning of the FTW acronym was once suggested by someone unaware of the original meaning and it grew in popularity as a result of the F-word.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
