Ok, before you do anything, you need to access the computer that the IPod you have is sync'ed to, and rip a CD of the music library. Then download the music off of the CD, and store it in a file on your computer. After that, you can download Itunes and plug in the new to you IPod.

Then transfer the music in your files onto it, and it will work with your computer.
