You probably saved it in a different user account Than the one you booted into. Each account has its own My Documents folder and you can't see another account's My Documents. Just boot into the original account..
It is there ONCE SAVED! You may have accidently saved it in another location......There are a few ways to discover it. First if you know exactly what you saved...use search to find it!
Or try Start to Documents and hopefully the listings will hold what you downloaded..if so click and go to to. Or redown load the item...change nothing and see where IT WANTS TO SET ITSELF...THERE WOULD BE WHAT YOU DID DOWNLOAD. Search is the best way of the three.

Make sure you are using the same account, and try doing a search for it. I assume you are using Windows XP. If this is the case then every user of the computer will have a separate "My Documents" folder.
Make sure you are logged on using the same account when you try to retrieve the document. If this doesn't work try opening the program you used to create/modify the document. Most programs will have a "Recent Documents" (or something similar) option under the "File" menu. It's possible that the file was inadvertently saved somewhere else, and this is an easy way to find it.
One final option is to search the hard drive for the document. In the Explorer window go to C:\ and hit 'Control-F'. This will bring up the search menu.
Click 'Document', choose a time frame, and enter part or all of the filename. If the file is on your computer this search will find it (It may take a little while though). Good luck!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
