I think my girlfriend is a compulsive liar. How many lies is too many? Can anyone explain this to me?

This is what happens when you cheat and the other person knows about it. They hold it over your head because they CAN'T forget. Sounds like he didn't even forgive either.

So your best move here is breaking up with him. He won't change and your now a prisioner of this who wants to live that way in life? You will remain miserable until you leave him.
