Heat/PS Assuming nothing out of the ordinary, it’s probably heat or insufficient power. Heat: This could be environmental, or maybe you got a CPU that was marginal on the clocking. Either way, try lowering the ambient temperature (got a basement?) or taking the case cover off and see if it helps any.
If you can, check out the temps in the BIOS. If heat is the issue, you have a number options like downclocking, different cooling setup, etc.I once had someone ship me one, which apparantly got ruffled in transit, so I had to reapply the thermal paste. Power: Vendors like HP and eMachines are notorious (in my book) for shipping with cheap power supplies.
Check the wattage on your power supply and see if you can borrow one of the sameor higher wattage from someone else. I’m not exactly a computer repair guy, but I’ve seen a few power related problems and several heat issues. Sources: Experience .
1 My husband just had this exact problem. It was the motherboard. I'd take it to get diagnosed.
Hopefully, it will be something else, but that's what we had on his machine.

2 Oh yeah... you never did mention if it was new or not. I was assuming not.

Can be any number of things. Bad power supply, CPU fried, Bad PCI device.
4 Oh yeah. You also never said how long it took to shut off. If it has a bad fan, it will shut itself off when overheated.
The first time, it will be an hour or so, depending on room tempertature. After that, it will usually shut down immediately because it's still hot from the last time.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
