Wrong plug You may have plugged the audio into the wrong plugs on the TV. There are a lot of different audio connections in the back of a typical TV these days. Likewise, on your laptop, there may be several audio plugs, such as various audio ins and typically one audio out.

You have to check your connections careful. Of course, make sure the sound is turned up on that channel.

NanoNano replied to post #2: 3 Try going into Control Panel/Sound and make sure your sound card is outputing sound to the proper jack that you are plugging into. If that is correct, then the problem is most likely with the TV, where you may be able to correct it in the setup menu there. Just spitballing here... Not an expert on this sort of thing by any means.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
