When you check in at the airport, explain the situation to the ticket agent, and ask if she can give you a Security Pass.

I've done this, bring your ID ,explain your situation and they will give you a pass to get in.

I would strongly suggest you contact the airline your daughter is traveling on and find out before you get to the airport what the policy is. Some are very restrictive, and unless your daughter or grandson is disabled, you may not be allowed a gate pass. If there is some other medical reason be sure to have a letter from a physician indicating the need for assistance.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
