I want to be a vocalist for a punk band but I know nothing about doing so, or how to even write a punk song. I don't even know where to sing?

No! It's not weird at all! I'm 13 and I listen to The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Who, Interpol, Viet Cong, etc. I understand what you're talking about.

I'm the only black girl at my school that hates that popular mainstream pop and rap crap. I much rather prefer indie, alternative, rock, heavy metal, classical, psychedelic, folk, new wave, or any other music that's old or underground. There's nothing wrong with liking music that the majority of people don't like.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
