Have you considered buying an ipod and downloading? A lot easier and there's much more catalog available than what is available on CD. If you get someone to show you how to download music from iTunes or some other pay-per-download site, you can burn your own CD of the music you download.

If you are wanting a CD of the music from the 60's and 70's, time life and all those kinds of places sell them. Even wal-mart has CD's of 60's and 70's music. If you are wanting a CD from that time; they did not have CD's in the 60's and 70's.
