I want to find a book that I read years ago but I don't remember the title and/or author. Only the description. The story is about a young girl (maybe 8 or 9) whose cliquey popular friends one day decide to stop talking to her.So she befriends this mysterious new girl who's very smart and knows lots of different things and is not afraid to take on the queen bee brat of the class.

She has this gigantic room full of neat stuff and interesting relatives. The mysterious girl gets hurt in school one day on a merry go round and her new friend sticks up for her at the end of the book. I also remember the main character has an older brother who in the beginning of the book drops a penny on the ground and tells her "A Penny is a Penny no matter where it is" which always stuck out with me.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
