I'm exactly the same way. One of my tatts is right between my first and second knuckle, and it didn't bother me at all. On the other hand, even the smallest syringe chills me to the bone.
I had to get a tetanus shot last year, and I clenched my teeth so tight my jaw hurt the next day. I don't think piercings and ink are the same as getting a needle. The needle is more intrusive, stuff is injected into you or taken out of you.
It's a totally different vibe. There's probably lots of people who do an i.v. Like it's nothing, but would pass out at the thought of getting a lip stud or a heart on their shoulder.
Everybody's afraid of something.
Well, sorry to tell you but nobody here cares that you think of them.. As for the question, it happens to me too. Though I love piercings, I hate shots, but the weird thing is I cant stand the needle from tattoos but I keep getting them..
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
