Interestingly enough, Temple isn't listed! Here are some I have heard of: Florida International University ( http://hospitality.fiu.edu/ ) has an excellent program. It is in sunny Miami but there are excellent sunscreens these days, up to SPF 50, and they offer an online Masters program in case the sun gets to be too much.
You have to be on campus for the undergraduate degrees. If you would rather go north, then the University of Guelph in Canada ( http://www.htm.uoguelph.ca/ ) has a great program, as does Ryerson in Toronto ( http://www.ryerson.ca/~shtmwww/ ). The University of Massachusetts ( http://www.isenberg.umass.edu/htm/ ) has a great program, too.
Roosevelt University in Chicago ( http://www.roosevelt.edu/etsuc/hosm.htm ) has a good program and even offers online training. San Diego State University has a brand new program ( http://bus.byuh.edu/HTM_intro/index.php0 ) and if you have never been to San Diego you need to visit sometime - the weather is absolutely marvelous. There is also Delaware State University ( http://bus.byuh.edu/HTM_intro/index.php1 ) , Fairleigh Dickinson in New York ( http://view.fdu.edu/default.aspx?id=851 ), Pace University, also in New York ( http://appserv.pace.edu/execute/page.cfm?doc_id=14640 ) and Purdue in Indiana ( http://www.cfs.purdue.edu/htm/undergrad/prospective_students.shtml ).

One of the top schools.....is University of Las Vegas for this particular major. The reasons are obvious with so many hotels and casinos that influence the greater Las Vegas, UNLV is one of the top schools for Hotel & Management. I’ve had several friends graduate UNLV, and had a job before they even finished their graduating ceremony.
Another alternative if you don’t like Vegas, is to go to the school up north...University of Nevada at Reno. The industry dominates the whole State and casinos frequently donate large sums of money to ensure that a new influx of talent comes from these two universities.
