The mices themselves the chances or catching something is usually very low... But there are those rare cases of Rabies.. and things like that but most likely a field mouse and not a house mouse. House Mice, the most common things you can catch is from their droppings.. so keep the places nice and clean and wear gloves and a face mask will vacuuming and cleaning up those mouse droppings.. and you should be fine.. I recommend putting all your food items into thick plastic bins, especially items in boxes.. and setting them 5 inches away from the wall and side by side.. Make sure you take the trash out in lockable bins at night.. and wipe areas you eat food on very well .. If you have cat, bird, dog food have those in thick closeable bins too.. Hope that helps :) .. The main health issue is breathing in things, unless you get bit.. wash the bite good with antibiotics and put the mouse into something if its caught to take into be tested is what they say to do. But, most of the time they are to busy tryng to get away to even think of biting you.. IF I remember right from Environmental Studies in Milton ghschool (Wisconsin USA) it was less than 2% chance.. but it depends on your location, and if the mice are living indoors all the time, or invading through the outside.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
