The error doesn't come from the game DirectX is some kind of software from Microsoft, that allows games to use the 3D-features of the different graphic-cards in always the same way (so you don't need to program your game for all different types of cards). DirectX seems to have a problem with that specific game or something the game wants from your graphic-card. The game itself doesn't seem to be corrupted (so downloading it again will not help).

There are different things that might have happened. There is a bug in the game that leads to the crash of it, so you might wait for a patch for that game that can be downloaded and installed. There might be a problem with an older version of the graphical-card-driver, so you might check the website of your card-manufacturer for a newer version.
