The doctor can tell you if it will or not accelerate the ALS. :) .
This is a question for the only neurosurgeon on AV. It is N O T a question for anyone else.
This is a good question. Technically, if you're having disk surgery, it shouldn't affect your ALS. But all spinal surgery carries a risk of paralysis, although in this instance, it wouldn't be the same kind of paralysis ALS causes.
I am so sorry to hear about your diagnosis of ALS. We are not doctors here and it might help you a lot if you were to get on an ALS chat line. You will find a lot of people who have been through the same thing.
Please ask you doctors, too, if this is something that will be beneficial. My heart goes out to you.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
