Try Local In my experience, I've seen most local cards at local flea markets. You could also try local estate sales. Also, put out a general notice in the local gossip paper or maybe church bulletin of what you're interested in.

You would be surprised at the results you will get.

Try local gift shops, antique malls, and used booksellers I know some of the bookstores around here have old postcards for sale. I've also seen vintage cards at gift shops that focus on the tourist trade. Local mom and pop stores generally are more likely to have them.

Antique malls also will often have a seller with postcards.

One good way is to locate... a used/antiquarian book and print, or print store in your area. They frequently sell ephemera, which is generally what old postcards will be classified as. Another good place are the big flea-market/antique malls.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
