I would like to know what people use to catch carp fish with? what kind of bait that is?

Catching carp Nice to hear of another carp fisher - seems like no one understands what we are saying when we tell them! We use corn or cornmeal mixed with honey nut cheerios or firm bread rolled in a ball. I have seen different baits used. I work near a very popular fishing spot. Carp are plentiful here.

You can see these king size fish swimming near the top of the water very often. They do seem to be a hard fish to land though since many people don't have much luck catching them. Those that do have luck use the whole kernal corn like you do.

I have seen them thread 5 or 6 kernals on their hook and then take a small handful of kernals and toss the handful in the water and then immediately drop the hook in the water. This technique seems to be the best. I have also seen folks have luck using pieces of bread that they compress into a small ball.

I have also seen people have luck using those Cheeto's Puff Balls. Folk's I have talked to don't seem to think they are a very good eating fish. The most popular recipe around these parts is to put the fish on a pine board and cook the fish in the oven at 400 degrees for one hour.

You then remove from oven and throw away the fish and eat the board! Enjoy and good luck! I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
