I'd really like to see some fireworks. Why can't there be fireworks for Memorial Day?

We have fireworks for New Year's and the Fourth of July to celebrate, as both are happy, good holidays. (Well, Independence Day's a holiday here in the States, at least. ) A new year, and celebrating this country's independence, are great events, and I'm a huge fan of the fireworks displays on these days.

However, Memorial Day is a somber day of reflection and gratitude to commemorate those who have given everything for this country and its people. I would be beyond ticked if we started having fireworks on Memorial Day.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
