If a clerks "goof" won you 128 Million dollars, would you go back and give him a tip?

Great story! I would probably give her a 1 million dollar tip for her "carelessness". Without her, I wouldn't win the lottery.

Then I'd probably ask if she got any charity she'd like me to donate to. If the charity weren't against my values, I'd donate with her name to the charity too. I plan to donate money to charity anyway, if I ever won a large amount of money.

I would also treat her to a fantastic dinner of her choice. I love making other people feel happy. If we share joy I believe we get even more joy.

I would tip the clerk, but I probably would have someone else do it so that I wouldn't get mobbed at the store! And heck, make it a good tip so the clerk didn't have to work there anymore either, because he would probably be getting mobbed by reporters there, too. I could send my husband or someone else I trust but that the reporters don't know who he is yet.

Just send him with a check for $500,000. In an envelope. Pass the envelope to him over the counter like it's the money for whatever he is buying.

Tell him "Thank you so much for making the mistake with the lottery ticket, this is your reward.

Figuring out the exact amount would be pretty difficult, but it should at least be what the clerk considers a large amount of money. What about one year's salary?

I agree! I would give him a big tip! The girls that work at the store where I buy the occasional lottery ticket :) are always so sweet and wish me luck every time.

If I ever win I plan on tipping them just for the heck of it.

I would make sure the clerk gets a well deserved reward. I concur with the previous comment about not wanting anybody to know except the clerk.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
