No, tonsils located in the back of the throat and are thought to help produce antibodies. They are often a problem from many people because they are susceptible to a many number of virus and bacterial infections which causes a lot of problems. It is believed that they developed in a time when people didn't come in contact with many other people and were less likely to get sick.It also seems that they are good for aiding the body in getting rid of parasites.

In most societies today parasites aren't a common problem and the tonsils are often a liability rather then an asset. Therefore they are commonly removed to get rid of infection problems associated with them. Because they are not a part of the endocrine (hormone) system they don't change the body's hormones and chemicals and won't effect things such as hair growth.

Women who suffer from facial hair do so because of hormones or imbalances of hormones in their body.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
