I would nominate in the following categories Most Complete, Well Cited Answers: PamPerdue For her well researched, even handed, well cited, and exceedingly knowledgeable answers. She rarely (if ever) loses her temper in discussion and always seems to remain very steady, polite, and logical in her responses. It's amazing and wonderful!

Best Sport (for all the crap we put him through): Mr_M One word: Washcloth. Most Engaging Questions: Lady_Wolf I would nominate L_W for all the great puzzles, riddles, and creative questions she's written that have give me literally hours of entertainment.

I would nominate the following - 1. Best Avatar - cak1971 and Mr_M (make sure you watch the giraffe carefully; hopefully it moves for you) 2. Most Unique Questions: Rocketeer24 This is one unique individual with a very active imagination.

I hope he is putting this talent to good use in the real world; it honestly would be sad if it went to waste. 3. Most Helpful: Dieds He answered a question for me that helped my very much; I’d probably still be struggling with iPhoto if it wasn’t for him 4.

Most Knowledgable: EddieNygma I’ve read many of his responses and he seems like a smart unbiased fella. Honorable Mention: KingofRandomCrap 5. Askviller who has his own category: Mr_M 6.

Most Friendly: Well most are so to single out 1 individual is too hard .

Most Knowledgeable and Helpful EddieNygma and PamPerdue if asked for the friendliest, my list would be very long -- there are many really welcoming people here. ID blocks are changed too often for that to be a valid category. Btw, Sakura, are you actually the Askville mayor in disguise?

For extra credit, identify John Beresford Tipton.

1 And they wouldn't do that thing Amazon has been doing after people join Askville by giving emails to all your contacts.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
