The way the west works is becoming increasingly obvious. It pretends it cares about the human rights of people and uses that as a pretext to interfere in the affairs of other countries, particularly oil rich countries the west doesn't control. The west isn't interested in the human rights of people in Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and so on nor do you hear the west complaining about the lack of democracy there.
This human rights scam the west is running is a cute idea. The public in the west actually manage to feel good about themselves, as if they're nice people supporting the bombing of countries whose people need liberating. Look where the west has intervened?
Libya, Afghanistan, Iraq ... are these success stories? Are these democracies? Would the American people thank the Iranians if they liberated them from the military / industrial complex that governs them by bombing them?
"But the US is a democracy!" ... really? Two parties? Two choices?
Would you go into a restaurant with two choices on the menu? Democracy is a charade in many countries giving the public the idea they can control their destinies when in the UK, for example, parliament is not allowed to discuss the constitution or the role the Royal Family play in British life. Some democracy ... the right to elect people to debate and vote on a few things but not the important stuff ... In Zimbabwe, people can vote for the head of state.
Their elections may not be perfect but when will the British get a chance to vote on if they want the Royal Family or not? Back to the question ... let the Iranians run their own country the way they want. It's none of our business.
The Iranians are no threat to the west. Far from it ... Iran will one day be seen as a great force for stability in the region. They have a great track record for invading no-one.
That's the kind of thing the west and its allies do.
They call it a dictatorship because of the use of military force to keep the people in line they assult and or kill anyone who opposes the governments rule just like in syria and lybia.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
