Not to mention the fact that Byrd was still an avowed segregationist into his 50s... Hardly someone we'd call a naive and impressionable youth.
BYRD DID NOT KILL PEOPLE....ANYONE He was affiliated with a hateful organization and got right out and spent his entire life defeating that ideology in a state that was very much FOR IT. That is why Do you not really get that. It is not a mistake that defines you, it is the whole of your life.
His life was an example to all. I wish some REPUBLICANS would do what BYRD did, denounce their ideology and become sane and work for world peace.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
