If God is love and God is in all things. Wouldn't it make sense that in all things there is love?

I watched a documentary on tv last night. It was made by RTE: the Irish broadcasting company. The subject matter covered Laos: a country that shares borders with both Vietnam and Cambodia.

Laos has the distinction of being the most heavily bombed: per capita, country in the world. The peculiar thing is that Laos hasn't fought - or declared - a war on another country in hundreds of years.

Another peculiar thing is that the country that dropped all those bombs on Laos: America, wasn't at war with Laos at the time either - in fact - America has never declared war on Laos.

It has been 36 years since America's war against Vietnam ended. The truly tragic part of this tale is, however, that - although the Americans have long since gone home - Laoatians continue to be killed and maimed by the unexploded ordnance that American planes scattered throughout their country. For Laoatians the Vietnam war never ended - they are still suffering - simply going out into their own fields to tend their crops can kill them.

America has never a paid a dime in reparations or compensation for the untold anguish and pain it has wrought upon this impoverished nation.

He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. >1 John 4:8.

This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother. > 1 John 3:10.

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. > 1 John 4:7.

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.

> 1John 4:16.

Matthew 13:38 The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one.

John 1:12 Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.

John 8:44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

We love because he first loved us. If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.

– 1 John 4:19-20.

No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.

- Matthew 6:24.

So be very careful to love the LORD your God. - Joshua 23:11.

Truth is never hidden, we actually hide ourselves from it.

God is not in evil or hate- believe Satan is in all things bad and God isn't part of that, for sure!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
