If I adopt a dog from a shelter, and I want to change its name, do I have to tell them when I adopt?

I agree, its a great idea! It will benefit all the animals being placed in home. Some people get pets on a whim and soon realize they no nothing on the care of the animal they adopted, which often leads to neglect.

It is a "guarantee" that the pet will be placed into a home that is knowledgeable on the care of the animal. I had worked in a high volume shelter, a woman came in with a yr old dog to surrender to the shelter on the fact the dog was not housetrained, she then went into the puppy section of the shelter and picked up a puppy and inquired about adopting it. She was denied!

The woman was upset, and was so ignorant she could not see the error she had made. She stormed out dogless and I am happy the shelter didn't allow her to adopt a puppy, that obviously was not housetrained. Add I took the test and got 24/25 right, the Q I missed was about owing more then 2 dogs in the municipality..but I don't live in Austrailia...and didn't read the handbook...

That test was simple. I'm not from AU, I didn't read the Pet 101, and got 100% on the test, and it only took me a few minutes. Required score to pass: 100% Your score: 100% (25 out of 25 questions) Congratulations S, you have passed the Lost Dogs' Home Pet Licence Test!

Your licence number is: 1162 Now all I have to do is fly to Melbourne and pick out my dog:) If people can''t pass that test - they really shouldn't have pets.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
