If I am receiving my spouses death social security benefits and have been laid off,can I also receive unemployment benefits?

IANAL, but yes, unless Oregon has some crazy laws. Go down, apply. Somewhere on the form will be "other income" and you'll need to answer that truthfully.

But if you have Social Security|SS income or interest income, or rent from a property you own or alimony coming in, that all goes into some formula they have to determine your unemployment benefit. (And I'm pretty sure that it doesn't matter. ) The right people to answer this question work at the state unemployment office.

Good luck in your job search.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
