I would give it all to someone that gave a really well-informed answer and did not seem to be getting any credit for the answer. This is often the case for people that leave long, impressive, thought-provoking answers and happen to do it a day or so after the initial knee-jerk run of answers have been submitted. By this time, there is usually a decent answer that has 5 or 6 "up votes," and the awesome answer is sitting at the bottom of the page with 0 because nobody saw it because it was submitted late.
I am rarely on this site, so I play catch-up and look at completed answers. I would give it to someone that had the best answer but didn't receive "Best Answer. " 10 Mahalo dollars are basically worthless, and I would do the same if it were 100 Mahalo dollars.100 even seem rather worthless to me, and if you just sent it to me randomly, I would have no problem tipping someone 100.
If you said $1,000, this would change things, and honestly (and quite strangely) I would keep it all.
I would give away every dime of the 10 Mahalo Dollars. Why? What is my reasoning?
Firstly, it makes me happy to give money away to folks and second, here at Mahalo Answers giving money to people is really more of a give and take.. I add money to questions I ask or add money to the questions of others I would like to see get answered and 99% of the time the Mahalo Answers community comes through with some pretty fantastic research, information, deduction, and informed opinion.. sometimes I get far more than I have "paid" for in the answer department...and lastly I just do not need these Mahalo Dollars for anything else but asking questions and having fun here in Mahalo Answers.
If you gave me M$10 and asked me to spread it around the community... I would. Plain and simple. This month I cashed out completely for the first time.
I usually leave some money to play with in my account so I can team tip and put money on my own questions. It felt weird not having any money on Mahalo. I felt sad and poor... only because I'm used to spreading the wealth around here.
I'm okay now, I've got answers coming in, but it was hard for a few days not to be able to use money like I'm used to in the community. I have been given money before from Mahalo with the explicit purpose of spreading around and had no problem doing so before, so you could count on me to do as you wish. *bunny money is always fun.
I would convince Mike Bracco to do a 10 dollar cash-out then I would skip town with all that fake money, which would be under 7 dollars after all the fees. I could make it ten, maybe even twenty miles away! Well actually that plan might be a little lofty. In reality I would use all ten for a contest question, there kinda fun.
If I kept the money It would be easy for you to see that I did not do what you asked. Then you would likely tell others, stealing the money would just be to grimey for any respected mahalo member. I like your style of questions, two great ones today!
Well, following the Mahalo tradition, M$1 is only worth $0.75 of give away dollars. So, in the end, I would only be able to give away M$7.50, the remaining M$2.50 would be absorbed by my services!
I would ask you if it would be OK to ask a ten dollar question. If you said yes I would a $10 writing challenge to inspire people to write short stories. If you said no, I would pick someone fun and give them all 10 per the request.
. I know there are many who needs to be paid but cannot reach the amount limit ( i'm one of them, not so close ) until the end of July.My problem is I don't know the M$ balances of each user. I am sure we are not "bad actors" as Jason insinuated on his comment on this Q: mahalo.com/answers/what-changes-were-mad... , just because we want to cashout.
Also, not all who wants to cashout this month are leaving Mahalo. Please update us what comes up with your experiment. Thanks, @duenhsiyen for this Question.
Exactly as in my answer to your previous similar question (http://www.mahalo.com/answers/if-i-gave-you-10-mahalo-dollars-and-ask-that-you-give-it-away-to-anyone-here-how-much-would-you-give-away-and-how-much-would-you-keep here) I would give away all of the 10 Mahalo Dollars that you gave me... if you or anyone were to give me the MDs the result would be the same. Just like before and for the same reasons; I like to give money to people, people will give *great* answers for MDs, and I just do not need the money for anything but time and fun here in Mahalo Answers. In the case of the anonymity of this question and myself nothing changes.. I give it all away.
If you asked me to give it away I would give it away, I wouldn't keep it.
My answer would be the same as your previous Q, anonymous or not, I will give it to someone, all of it. I would not keep it because you asked that it be given away, if you said I can keep it I might, but if I know of someone who needs it more than me or maybe if I come up with a nice question I'll give it as a tip. 10dollars is not much but may mean more to someone than what we might think.
I am sure the recipient will be thankful even he/she does not know who gave it to him/her.
I personally like the idea of giving back to the Mahalo community as much as possible, that is why you can look at my stats and see I have given just about everything I have made in tips back as tips. If someone/you offered to give me 10M$ to give away I would be happy to take the funds and match them, resulting in my giving away 20M$ to others in the community. I have no interest in keeping money made here for myself (though I did purchase a jawbone in the store for 25M$ because I wanted to try out the store).
If you asked me to give it away, I would give it away. And I would prefer it to be ANONYMOUSLY. (No "thank you's" required.).
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
