I'm thinking the only way to truly get this answered is by calling the IN unemployment line. I know that probably means a lot of busy signals and long hold wait times, but at least you will receive the correct answer! I can let you know that where I am, one cannot refuse a job unless there is a legally acceptable (defined by unemployment) reason to refuse it.
I was able to refuse a position once because of both health concerns due to the hot environment and because I had a job interview for a different job that paid much more on the same day. (Note that my health issues were well documented as I had a proven history to have a legitimate concern. ) I received the unemployment for that "refusal period" only because I got the other job I interviewed for.
That said, I had to wait weeks before I received it while the whole process was in review. Maybe IN works differently, but you'll want to call them to find out.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
